The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Surigao del Sur’s National ID Team, came to aid the mobile registration initiated by the Local Civil Registrar’s Office (LCRO) of the Municipality of Cagwait, In celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month at Brgy. Bitaugan West, Cagwait Surigao del Sur.

On 20 February 2025 the Office of the LCRO of Cagwait conducted its Mobile Registration at the Covered Court of Brgy. Bitaugan West, expected clients for this mobile registration are constituents from Brgy. Bitaguan East and West, as well as Brgy. Mat-e. 

Spearheaded by the Municipal Civil Registrar Solotora C. Abellar and with the active participation of the hosting barangay and the other invited barangays, the one-day visit for mobile registration of birth certificates and National ID was a success. The involved offices catered to clients' various service needs, from birth registration to National ID inquiry and 5 clients who requested for the issuance of their National ID in Paper Form. Moreover, 25 new registrations in the National ID System were catered as well. 

Continuous effort is made to ensure that services will be rendered to every barangay in each respective municipality. PSA’s involvement in this event underscores its dedication to fostering collaborative efforts that drive positive change in communities throughout the province.

To date, National ID - Surigao del Sur continues to intensify further its goal to make National ID registration more accessible to the people.
