In support of inclusive public service and citizen accessibility, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Dinagat Islands joined the Job Fair conducted during the 26th Araw ng Tubajon celebration held at the Tan Chan Mini Gym, Mabini, Tubajon on June 19- 21, 2025.
The event, organized in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Tubajon and various national government agencies, offered a one-stop venue where residents could access both employment opportunities and essential public services.
As part of its commitment to delivering services closer to the people, PSA-Dinagat Islands extended National ID System services during the two-day activity, including:
• National ID registration for all age groups
• Demographic correction for existing National ID holders
• Processing of photo replacement for IDs with damaged or peeled-off images
• Issuance of paper-based National IDs (ePhilID)
• Retrieval of Transaction Reference Number (TRN)
The activity helped residents who had previously been unable to access PhilSys registration and services due to geographic or logistical limitations. By bringing services directly to the people during high-turnout community events, PSA reaffirms its commitment to accessible and efficient service delivery.
The PSA team successfully delivered its services, further reinforcing its role in supporting the needs of communities in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs).
The collaboration between local and national agencies during the celebration reflected a shared commitment to community welfare—promoting not only employment opportunities but also streamlined access to government services.
