Conduct of the Third Quarter Meeting of the Provincial Inter-Agency Committee on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics

The Provincial Inter-Agency Committee on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics chaired by the Provincial Statistical Office of Agusan del Sur held its third quarter meeting on August 30, 2024, at Hygeia (Full Humanity Development) Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

The third quarter meeting was declared quorum and hit off with the discussion of the Updates of the CRVS Action Plan of each member-agency, Status of Submission of Civil Registry document, Status of BRAP Implementation in the province and discussion of various memorandum circulars released relevant to civil registration. The committee also agreed on various matters regarding the implementation of Birth Registration Assistance Project in the province to further strengthen the collaboration and achieve high turn-out of registration. Most importantly, at the end of meeting, the member-agencies guaranteed their utmost support and commitment in all civil registration undertakings of the office.

The provincial committee on civil registration and vital statistics is a strong evidence of continuous government efforts to address civil registration gaps and ensure that every AgSurnon has a valid identity and will never be left behind, now and in the years to come.
