Unlocking Rights: Agusan del Sur's SECPA initiative ensures secure birth documentation for 12 recipients in the Municipality of La Paz under Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP)
9 May 2024, La Paz, Agusan del Sur – The Provincial Statistical Office of Agusan del Sur proudly announces a significant milestone achieved in its ongoing efforts to ensure accurate birth registration within the province. On May 9, 2024, the office hosted an awarding ceremony for the issuance of Certificate of Live Births in Security Paper (SECPA) under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) in the Municipality of La Paz, Agusan del Sur.
The ceremony, which took place during the Government on Wheels initiative in Barangay Lydia, marked a crucial step forward in enhancing birth registration services for residents in the province. By facilitating the issuance of SECPAs, the Provincial Statistics Office aims to provide citizens with secure and authenticated birth certificates, essential for various legal and administrative purposes.
This ceremony symbolizes PSA and Local Government of La Paz’s commitment to inclusivity and social justice, ensuring that no one is left behind. By providing essential support to marginalized communities, the BRAP aims to empower individuals and promote equality.
