Training and Workshop on the Implementing Rules and Regulations of AO No.1 S. of 2021 and Registration of Marriage with P.E.C.C.A.V.I Priests and Clergies

 

 

The Civil Registration Unit of the Provincial Statistical Office of Agusan del Sur conducted a two-day training with the priests and clergies of the religious sect Philippine Ecclesiastical Catholic Church Apostolic Vicar Incarnant (P.E.C.C.A.V.I) Simbahang Katoliko Pilipino, Inc. on May 9-10, 2024, at Alma’s Budgetel, Poblacion, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur.  

The two-day training mainly focused on the discussion of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Administrative Order No. 1 series of 2021 and the Registration of Marriage. The first day was allotted for the discussion of the IRR of the administrative order and workshop on how to fill out the OCRG Form 1 (Application Form). Meanwhile, the second day was mainly about the registration of marriage and instructions on how to fill out the Certificate of Marriage. Issues and concerns raised pertaining to the specific rules and regulations of the administrative order were addressed to provide clarifications and guidance to would be solemnizing officers.

This activity serves as a bridge between the religious sectors in the province and the agency that will help create a healthy and strong connection between the two for smooth transactions in the application process of Certificate of Registration of Authority to Solemnize Marriage.
