Refresher Course on Decentralized Copy Annotation Process

The Civil Registration Unit of the Provincial Statistical Office of Agusan del Sur conducted a training on the Refresher Course on Decentralized Copy Annotation Process or DeCAP with the Local Civil Registrars and their staff on May 22, 2024, at Hygeia (Full Humanity Development) Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.  

The training mainly focused on the discussion of the guidelines on the processing of documents under DeCAP from the Local Civil Registry Offices in the province. The Registration Officer II of the provincial office acted as the speaker, and it was attended by the Local Civil Registrars with two of their staff who are involved in the processing of DeCAP documents. The speaker highlighted out several updates on the guidelines and pointed out common mistakes in the submitted documents. Relevant scenarios were also discussed by the trainer and the participants that paved way to a clearer understanding of the process and the end-result.

The conduct of this activity served as an outlet to address recurring mistakes in the processing of documents under DeCAP. It is also one way to promote awareness and improvement to document processors and most importantly, to refresh the knowledge of the LCRs and staff to ensure accurate and systematic civil registration services in the province.
