To ensure inclusivity and accessibility, the Philippine Statistics Authority – Dinagat Islands (PSA-DI), through the National ID System, conducted house-to-house visits to provide mobile registration services for bedridden individuals.
This initiative was carried out in response to requests from walk-in clients who sought registration for their bedridden family members, who were unable to visit the fixed registration center. The National ID is a crucial requirement for late birth registration, which, in turn, enables individuals—particularly senior citizens—to obtain their birth certificates. These documents are essential for securing senior citizen membership and accessing various government benefits.
Through these proactive efforts, PSA-DI reaffirms its commitment to making the National ID System registration process more accessible, ensuring that every Filipino, regardless of their physical condition, can benefit from the National ID system.
