Twenty-two (22) Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration centers for online Step 1 registrants are now open to serve the Caraganons.
In order to expand the Step 1 registration services nationwide and to allow more individuals to complete the registration process, PSA launched the online registration on 30 April 2021. In the region, this commenced on Monday, September 6. Caraganons who wish to register for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) may already have their Step 1 registration and book their appointments online for Step 2 at their chosen registration centers. Step 1 registration is the gathering of demographic information such as a person’s name, sex, date of birth, place of birth, blood type, address and marital status. Step 2 on the other hand is the validation of demographic data and the capture of biometric information (i.e., finger print, iris scan and front facing image).
With this, those who wish to register online may observe the following:
Log in to register through https://register.philsys.gov.ph;
Be sure you have an active mobile number or email address to access the system;
Fill in all the needed information;
Select the date and physical registration center for the 2nd step of the registration process.
Applicants who were already registered online may now proceed in booking their appointment for Step 2 by logging in to https://register.philsys.gov.ph using their registered mobile number or email address. Upon the Step 2, applicants must present proof of their online registration in order for them to be catered in the registration center. This move is made in order to ensure that safety protocols are still observed in the registration centers while ensuring convenience for the registrants.
