Third Level Training on Monthly Palay and Corn Situation Report (MPCSR) & Rice and Corn Stocks Survey (RCSS) – February 2024

The February round Monthly Palay and Corn Situation Report (MPCSR) & Rice and Corn Stocks Survey (RCSS) Household and Commercial, third level training was conducted on January 30, 2024 at PSO-Agusan del Sur which was participated by eight (8) Statistical Researchers.

The MPCSR survey, with a sample of 100 households for palay and 76 households for corn, primarily aims to update the estimates of the current quarter based on the standing crop of the area and the production of palay and corn across the province. While the RCSS with a sample of 351 household and 99 establishment, is designed to provide an in-depth assessment of current rice and corn stock inventories in both farming and non-farming households in the province, as well as in commercial establishments. These surveys are conducted from February 1 to 10, 2024.

The selected sample respondents will be visited and interviewed in all sample barangays from different municipalities in the province. All the information collected by the hired Statistical Researchers from sample farmers shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be used for purposes of taxation, investigation or regulation as provided under Article 55 of RA 10625.
