PSA-PhilSys Caraga Extends Vital Services during Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Caraga, in collaboration with PSA Agusan del Norte, took part in the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, a two-day event held at the Caraga State University (CSU) Main Campus in Butuan City on March 22-23, 2024. This initiative aimed to extend essential services to the community.

Among the services offered by the PSA PhilSys team were Step 2 Registration for the PhilSys, issuance of Electronic Philippine Identification (ePhilID), updating of demographic information, processing requests for replacement of damaged PhilID cards, and assistance with Transaction Reference Number (TRN) retrieval.

Throughout the event, the PSA Agusan del Norte PhilSys team demonstrated their commitment by registering 107 individuals, issuing 248 ePhilID cards, updating demographic details for 12 clients, processing requests for replacement of five damaged PhilID cards, and addressing 303 TRN inquiries.

The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair served as an important opportunity for the community to access vital government services easily and efficiently. Initiatives like this highlight the PSA's commitment to improving public service delivery and ensuring the successful implementation of programs such as the PhilSys, which are essential for accelerating the Philippines’ transition to a digital economy.
