The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Caraga - As of December 31, 2024, the region has achieved a significant milestone in the implementation of the National ID System, registering a total of 2,404,887 individuals. This accomplishment reflects 101.39 percent of the region’s target of 2,371,862.

The remarkable accomplishment of the National ID registration in the Caraga Region was made possible through the unwavering dedication and innovative strategies of registration personnel. Mobile registration units were deployed to reach remote and difficult-to-reach areas, ensuring that communities with limited access to registration centers were adequately served. Registration personnel were also engaged with Local Government Units (LGUs) and community leaders to raise awareness and motivate residents to register, emphasizing the benefits of the National ID in accessing government services and opportunities. Many registration teams extended their operating hours and worked on weekends to accommodate more registrants.

For more details about the registration process, please visit the official PhilSys website at www.philsys.gov.ph.
