PSA Caraga Records 2.1 Million Registrants for the PhilID as of October 31, 2023

As of 31 October 2023, The Philippine Statistics Authority - Caraga has recorded a total of 2,127,609 successful registrants to the PhilSys. This represents 86.42% of the region’s total projected population aged 5 years old and over based on the 2020 Census of Population and Housing.

Recorded registrants in the region since the start of the operation in June 2021 is broken down as follows:
 

The table above shows that Agusan del Norte (including Butuan City) recorded the highest number of registered persons in the Step 2 registration among the five (5) provinces of the region. To further enhance the registration, PSA implemented several strategies such as house-to-house, school-based, institutional, and on-site mobile registration in collaboration with the Local Government Units (LGUs), National Government Agencies and the private sector.
