The Philippine Identification System Act (PhilSys) was established to provide a valid proof of identity for all Filipino citizens and resident aliens to simplify public and private transactions. Therefore, the Philippine Statistics Authority- Agusan del Norte continues to strive hard to ensure inclusive registration among the residents of Butuan City and Agusan del Norte.

For the First Quarter of 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority- Agusan del Norte has registered a total of 15,770 clients which is equivalent to 287.24%. Out of the total number of clients registered in National ID, 3,492 registrants were from ages 0-4 years old and 12,278 of the registered clients ages 5 years old and above.

Moreover, the Agusan del Norte PhilSys Team continue its effort in scrutinizing the areas, including far flung or coastal areas, to make sure that there is no “Kabayan” left behind.
