PhilSys-Dinagat Islands Successfully Launches “Rehistro Bulilit” Campaign

 

The 'Rehistro Bulilit' Campaign is an initiative under the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), aiming to register children aged one to four for their National ID. This ensures their inclusion in government services and future programs, contributing to their long-term well-being.

In collaboration with Barangay Don Ruben, San Jose, led by Brgy. Captain Wilma L. Gella, PSA – Dinagat Islands conducted the 'Rehistro Bulilit' Campaign. PhilSys – Dinagat Islands successfully launched its first Rehistro Bulilit Campaign in Barangay Don Ruben, San Jose, Dinagat Islands, on August 30, 2024. The primary goal of the campaign is to increase the registration turnout of children aged one to four years old. It also seeks to encourage parents and guardians to register their children in the National ID System and ensure that they are aware of and able to comply with the necessary supporting documents required during registration.

The PhilSys team worked together to ensure the event’s success. To further incentivize participation, the first 30 children who registered with PhilSys received loot bags immediately after registration. This simple gesture added excitement to the event and encouraged more parents to register their children. To make the event lively and attract more participants, the team organized a film screening, parlor games, and a raffle. Prizes such as tote bags, umbrellas, and mugs were awarded to the winners, making the event enjoyable and creating a festive atmosphere.

Through the Rehistro Bulilit Campaign, the team achieved a significant milestone by successfully registering 48 individuals, including 26 children aged 1 to 4. This was a crucial step towards our goal, and the positive response from the community demonstrates the campaign's impact in building a secure future for children.

The Rehistro Bulilit Campaign was also conducted in Barangays Matingbe, Luna and Cuarinta, San Jose from September 9 to 13, 2024. PSA-Dinagat Islands aims to register 8,772 children aged one to four, and as of September 24, 2024, a total of 1,602 children in this age group was successfully registered. The PhilSys team continues to conduct the Rehistro Bulilit Campaign in other municipalities throughout the year.
