Dinagatnons Get Essential Services Through PSA’s Mobile Civil Registration Services
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in collaboration with the Province of Dinagat Islands, conducted a two-day test run of the PSA’s Mobile Civil Registration Services in the province on May 13-14, 2024. The event was held at the PESO Office and Operations Center in municipalty of San Jose.
This initiative was aimed to extend essential services to the community such as issuance of birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates and CENOMAR/CEMAR (Certificate of No Marriage /Advisory of Marriages).
The two-day activity proved highly successful, serving 390 residents of the province and issuing a total of 674 civil registry documents/certifications. Additional 111 requests for civil registry documents from 57 clients were also accepted for processing at PSA Surigao City CRS Outlet.

On the other side, teams for processing of applications for the Birth Registration Assistance Program (BRAP) and registration to the Philsys were assigned. They were able to list 549 residents and successfully registered 21 residents for the National ID.
This event served as a crucial opportunity for the community to conveniently access essential government services. Such initiatives exemplify the PSA’s dedication to enhancing public service delivery and bringing essential services closer to the people.
