32 Sibagatnons Received their SECPA through the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP)

 

 

25 April 2024, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur – The Provincial Statistics Office of Agusan del Sur bore witness to a significant milestone as it hosted the awarding ceremony for the Certificate of Live Births in Security Papers (SECPA) under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) in the Local Government Unit of Sibagat, Agusan del Sur. 

The event was graced by the presence of  Municipal Vice Mayor Maria Liza Evangelista, PSA Birth Registration Agent and Municipal Civil Registrar Elizabeth Badajos. Together, they celebrated the culmination of efforts aimed at ensuring that every individual's right to legal identity is recognized and upheld. A total of 32 individuals were recipients of this crucial documentation, marking the first batch of beneficiaries under this project in the municipality. These recipients hailed from Barangay Perez, El Rio, Poblacion, Afga, and Tabontabon, reflects the diverse reach of the initiative across various communities within the municipality.

This ceremony symbolizes PSA and Local Government of Sibagat’s commitment to inclusivity and social justice, ensuring that no one is left behind. By providing essential support to marginalized communities, the BRAP aims to empower individuals and promote equality.
