19 July 2024– Agusan del Sur. The Provincial Statistical Office of Agusan del Sur is set to participate in the flag ceremony to mark the commencement of the 2024 Census of Population and the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) across all Local Government Units (LGUs) within the province. This event underscores the importance of data collection and statistical activities, which play a crucial role in planning and development at both the local and national levels.

Hanging of streamers for the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS) was initiated by the Provincial Statistical Office of Agusan del Sur (PSO-ADS) in preparation to the conduct of the said operation.

The Provincial Statistical Office of Agusan del Sur (PSO-ADS) conducted Bandilyo as part of the Information, Education, and Communication Campaign for the 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CCBMS). This campaign aims to officially announce the upcoming 2024 POPCEN-CBMS and spread information throughout the city and municipalities. This strategy seeks to garner public support and participation.

The province of Agusan del Sur achieved a significant milestone on April 1, 2024, as the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) data for the province was officially turned over to the Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur (PGAS). This momentous event, held at Provincial Learning Center in Prosperidad, signifies a commitment to data-driven governance and inclusive development under the esteemed leadership of the Provincial Governor Hon. Santiago B. Cane, Jr.

Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur - The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) concluded a successful presentation of the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Results and the Provincial Product Accounts at the Provincial Development Council (PDC) meeting held on April 4, 2024.
