PSA-Agusan del Norte Philppine Identification System (Philsys) Reaches 100.87% Registration to Target Population of Agusan del Norte
The Philippine Identification System Act (PhilSys) was established to provide a valid proof of identity for all Filipino citizens and resident aliens to simplify public and private transactions. Therefore, the Philippine Statistics Authority- Agusan del Norte continues to strive hard to ensure inclusive registration among the residents of Butuan City and Agusan del Norte.

As of 24 June 2024, the Philippine Statistics Authority- Agusan del Norte has registered a total of 670, 312 registrants which is equivalent to 100.87% compared to the target population of 664,534 from the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (2020 CPH). The least municipality with registered clients were noted in the municipality of Nasipit and Santiago that has a total registration percentage of 93% and 94.48% respectively.
Moreover, the Agusan del Norte PhilSys Team continue its effort in scrutinizing the areas, including far flung or coastal areas, to make sure that there is no “Kabayan” left behind.
