PhilSys Step 2 Registration and ePhilID issuance during the PCUP Bayanihan para sa Bawat Maralita (PBBM) Caravan

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Surigao del Sur Provincial Statistical Office in collaboration with the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) conducted an outreach initiative, the “PCUP Bayanihan para sa Bawat Maralita (PBBM)” in Barobo Surigao del Sur on 25 April 2024. This initiative aims to accommodate the local constituents of the said municipality to receive free services from different government agencies.

The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Team of Surigao del Sur with the Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO Caraga) personnel has rendered services at the said event such as the PhilSys step 2 registration and ePhilID issuance. The RSSO personnel also assisted the Local Civil Registrar of Barobo in processing requests for various civil documents (i.e. Cenomar, COLB, Death Certificate). A total of 11 registrants were registered during the event and a total of 12 ephilIDs were issued as well.

To date, PhilSys Surigao del Sur continues to further intensify its goal to make PhilSys registration more accessible to the people.
