PSA Agusan del Sur Conducted a Third Level Training on November 2023 Rice & Corn Stocks Survey (RCSS): Enhanced Household & Redesigned Commercial

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Agusan del Sur is pleased to announce the conduct of the Rice and Corn Stocks Survey (RCSS), featuring two comprehensive components: enhanced household and redesigned commercial. This monthly survey is designed to provide an in-depth assessment of current rice and corn stock inventories in both farming and non-farming households in the province, as well as in commercial establishments. 

The survey aims to generate inventories of rice and corn stocks for the household sector and establishments at the national and regional levels, assess the stock levels compared with the same period in the previous year and the previous month. 

To guarantee the success of this activity, hired statistical researchers (SRs) underwent an orientation and training on October 31, 2023, at the PSA Agusan del Sur Philsys Office to ensure a common understanding of the concepts and definitions used in the survey. The survey's enumeration phase was scheduled on November 1 to 10, 2023. In light of the ongoing health considerations, SRs and field supervisors are strictly reminded to observe proper health protocols when dealing with their respondents. 

All information collected by the hired statistical researchers from sample farmers shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be used for purposes of taxation, investigation, or regulation, as provided under Article 55 of RA 10625.
