The PSA RSSO XIII announces the conduct of the 2022 CBMS Nationwide Rollout. The field operation will commence from August 8 to October 5, 2022 for all PSA-funded and some LGU-funded, and from October 17 to December 16, 2022 for LGU-funded cities and municipalities.

The CBMS is a technology-based system of collecting, processing, and validating disaggregated data at the local level.  The disaggregated statistics are essential for targeting the poor and the vulnerable. It will be used for planning, program implementation, and impact monitoring for poverty alleviation and socio-economic development.

It will adopt the Computer-Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) in the gathering of information. As the need arises, the traditional Paper and Pencil Interview (PAPI) technique will be used.

Under RA 11315 otherwise known as the CBMS Act, the PSA shall lead its implementation while each city and municipality shall be the primary data collecting authority within its locality. In partnership with the LGUs, this will be conducted among 57 cities/municipalities in Caraga.
