PSA Caraga and DSWD Caraga Collaborate to Register and Authenticate 4Ps Beneficiaries in PhilSys
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Caraga and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Caraga are joining forces to ensure the comprehensive registration of beneficiaries under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) to the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
From February to March 2024, the DSWD will incentivize PhilSys registration for unregistered 4Ps beneficiaries. This strategic move aims to ensure that all 4Ps beneficiaries are comprehensively covered in the PhilSys registry, thereby facilitating better access to government services and benefits.
In line with the DSWD’s memoranda and implementing guidelines, the PSA is actively conducting PhilSys registration and authentication of 4Ps beneficiaries during the Family Development Sessions (FDS). The collaboration between PSA and DSWD underscores the government's commitment to providing efficient and accessible services to Filipino citizens. By registering 4Ps beneficiaries in PhilSys, the government aims to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and ensure the effective implementation of social welfare programs.
As of March 14, 2024, PSA Caraga recorded 5,915 Step 2 registrations and 8,905 successful authentications of 4Ps beneficiaries.
PSA is calling all unregistered 4Ps beneficiaries to take part in this vital program. Together, we can achieve a more inclusive and integrated approach to national identification that serves the best interests of every Filipino.
