PSA Agusan del Sur conducted a Third Level Training for 2023 Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) and 2023 Input-Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI) Data Processing
The CPBI is one of three national censuses conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) under RA 10625 and designated as a statistical activity by EO No. 352, series of 1996. It aims to gather information on economic activities nationwide, including their levels, structures, and trends. The 2023 IOSPBI, focuses on creating tables that illustrate the production and utilization of goods and services in the economy, crucial for updating the Philippine System of National Accounts.
To facilitate these efforts, the Provincial Statistical Office of Agusan del Sur (PSO-ADS) organized a Third Level Training for data processing of the 2023 CPBI and IOSPBI from July 15 to 19, 2024, at PSO-ADS Training Room. The hired data processors will manually and machine process the data collected from sample establishments to ensure the quality and accuracy of generated statistics. All information gathered from the sample establishments are strictly confidential and cannot be used for taxation, investigation, or regulatory purposes, as stipulated in Article 55 of RA 10625.
