The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Agusan del Norte will conduct the February 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) from February 8-28, 2025. This nationwide survey aims to gather comprehensive demographic and socio-economic data to aid in labor market planning and policy formulation. Specifically, it is designed to generate statistics on employment, unemployment, and underemployment at both the national and regional levels.

As an integral component of the survey, PSA - Agusan del Norte will deploy four (4) qualified Statistical Researchers, scheduled to undergo training on February 6-7, 2025. These researchers will be responsible for enumerating 203 sample households across selected barangays in Butuan City and Agusan del Norte.

PSA - Agusan del Norte urges all selected households to actively participate and provide accurate information, as the data collected will contribute to the formulation of policies aimed at enhancing employment opportunities and fostering economic development.

Respondents can be assured that all information gathered will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for statistical purposes, in compliance with data privacy laws.
