1.    Rice, Well Milled

At the provincial level, a kilogram of well-milled rice had an average retail price of PhP 40.00 in the first phase of May 2025 (01 to 05 May 2025). This was lower than its average retail price of PhP 43.50 per kilogram during the first phase (01 to 05 April 2025) and second phase of April 2025 (15 to 17 April 2025).  (Figure 1) 

2.    Beef, Pure Meat

An average retail price of PhP 450.00 at the provincial level was reported for beef, pure meat during the first phase of May 2025. This showed an increase from its average retail price of PhP 420.00 per kilogram in the first phase and second phase of April 2025. (Figure 2)

3.    Bangus

A kilogram of bangus in the province had an average retail price of PhP 210.00 during the first phase of May 2025. This also posted the same average retail price in the first phase of April 2025. Meanwhile, this was higher than the average retail price of PhP 195.00 per kilogram in the second phase of April 2025. (Figure 3)

4.    Tomato

A kilogram of tomato in the province had an average retail price of PhP 115.00 during the first phase of May 2025. This selected commodity showed consistent increase in its average retail price from PhP 75.00 per kilogram in the first phase of April 2025, then PhP 90.00 per kilogram during the second phase of April 2025. 5.    Ginger, Hawaiian

An average retail price of hawaiian ginger in the province was at PhP 200.00 per kilogram during the first phase of May 2025. This recorded an increase from its average retail price of PhP 160.00 per kilogram in the first phase and second phase of April 2025. (Figure 5)

6.    Calamansi

At the provincial level, a kilogram of calamansi had an average retail price of PhP 115.00 in the first phase of May 2025, higher than its average retail price of  PhP 90.00 per kilogram in the second phase of April 2025. Likewise, this registered an increase relative to its price level in the first phase of April 2025 at PhP 80.00 per kilogram.  (Figure 6)

7.    Brown Sugar

A kilogram of brown sugar in the province had an average retail price of PhP 61.48 during the first phase of May 2025. This was lower than the average retail prices of PhP 61.98 per kilogram in the second phase of April 2025 and PhP 65.43 per kilogram during the first phase of April 2025. (Figure 7)
