The economy of Agusan del Norte grew by 3.1 percent in 2023, a slowdown from a 3.7 percent growth in the previous year. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Agusan del Norte was estimated at PhP 39.88 billion. (Figure 1)

 

 

Among the 16 industries, the fastest growth was observed in Other services with 24.4 percent. This was followed by Accommodation and food service activities with 19.4 percent, and Public administration and defense; compulsory social security with 13.0 percent. On the other hand, only Mining and quarrying, posted a decline of 39.7 percent. (Figure 2)
