Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Agusan del Sur Presented Key Data on Poverty and Economic Indicators

Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur - The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) participated in an information dissemination forum held on April 2, 2024. The forum showcased crucial data on the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Results, Provincial Product Accounts, and the official poverty statistics for the first semester of 2023. This event brought together representatives from various national government agencies to discuss and analyze the findings.

Philippine Statistics Authority’s participation highlighted the significance of the data presented. The 2022 CBMS Results provided valuable insights into the socio-economic conditions at the grassroots level, offering a comprehensive understanding of communities' needs and development priorities. The Provincial Product Accounts shed light on the economic performance of different provinces, contributing to informed decision-making and targeted interventions for economic growth.

One of the highlights of the forum was the unveiling of the official poverty statistics for the first semester of 2023. These statistics play a crucial role in assessing the effectiveness of poverty alleviation programs and shaping policy initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of vulnerable populations.
