The PCPS is a quarterly survey conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to generate provincial-level estimates on palay and corn production, including area harvested, yield per hectare, and other relevant agricultural data.

Data collection for PCPS will take place from 1 to 15 July 2025, including weekends and holidays. The survey will cover 100 palay samples and 76 corn samples.

The training equipped field personnel—especially the enumerators—with the knowledge and skills needed to collect accurate and reliable data. Statistical Specialist II Elvisa A. Delos Santos emphasized the importance of understanding the survey’s objectives and following proper data collection procedures. She also encouraged the enumerators to perform their duties diligently and responsibly, highlighting their vital role in the success of the PCPS.
