PSA Agusan del Sur conducted a Third Level Training for 2023 Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) and 2023 Input-Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI)

The Provincial Statistical Office of Agusan del Sur (PSO-ADS) conducted a Third Level Training for the 2023 Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) and 2023 Input-Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI) last 22 to 26 April 2024 at the PSO-ADS Training Room.

The 2023 CPBI collects and generates information on the levels, structure, performance, and trends of economic activities in the country. While the 2023 IOSPBI gathers information to help create tables that show how goods and services are made and used in the economy which is important for updating the Philippine System of National Accounts. The 2023 CPBI and 2023 IOSPBI will be conducted simultaneously. The 2023 CPBI frame was extracted from the preliminary 2023 List of Establishment (LE) as of 02 February 2024 while the frame for the 2023 IOSPBI is the list of 2023 CPBI Samples.

The field operation will start on 06 May 2024. PSA Agusan del Sur encourages all establishments to support the conduct of this activity. All information collected by the hired Statistical Researchers from the sample establishments shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be used for purposes of taxation, investigation, or regulation as provided under Article 55 of RA 10625.
