The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office XIII (Caraga) will conduct the January 2023 Labor Force Survey (LFS). Caraga has a regional sample of approximately 2,144 housing units deemed sufficient to provide regional level estimates. Forty-seven (47) Statistical Researchers and Field Personnel will be involved in the region employing an integrated Computer-Aided Data Collection System (CADaCS) for the survey.

The Labor Force Survey (LFS) is a nationwide quarterly survey of households conducted by the PSA to gather data on the demographic and socio-economic characteristics of the population. 

In line with this, the PSA encourages everyone, especially the sample households, to support and cooperate in the conduct of the January 2023 LFS. The data collection will be undertaken from 09 to 31 January 2023 of all provinces in the region with the field personnel strictly following precautionary measures against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) such as social distancing, wearing of face mask, among others.

All information collected by the hired Statistical Researchers from the sample households shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be used for purposes of taxation, investigation or regulation as provided under Article 55 of RA 10625.
