The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Caraga kicked off the celebration of the 33rd National Statistics Month (NSM) in the region on 10 October 2022, 10:00 am at the SM Mall Events Center, Butuan City. This was participated by around one hundred thirty (130) representatives from Regional Statistics Committee (RSC), Regional Line Agencies (RLAs), Local Government Units (LGUs), academe, tri-media, and other private sectors.

The compilation of the region’s non-metallic mineral resources is undertaken by PSA Regional Statistical Services Office XIII in support of the region’s Economic-Environmental and Natural Resources Accounting (EENRA) endeavor. It aims to account the volume of production and the corresponding value of non-metallic resources as well as to map the location and distribution of non-metallic minerals in the region, among others.
