The Philippine Statistics Authority will conduct the Third Quarter Crops Production Survey (CrPS) which aims to generate basic production statistics for crops other than palay and corn at the national and sub-national levels. The field operation covers more than two hundred (200) crops of which nineteen (19) are considered major crops. CrPS also releases data on volume of production, area planted/harvested and number of bearing trees/hills/vines. PSA PREPARES FOR THE CONDUCT OF CROP PRODUCTION SURVEY FOR OCTOBER 2019 ROUND.

The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office XIII (Caraga) will conduct the July 2019 Labor Force Survey together with the 2019 Annual Poverty Indicators Survey (2019 APIS), with a regional sample of approximately 2,120 housingunits, deemed sufficient to provide regional level estimates. About seventy (70) Statistical Researchers and Field Personnel will be involved in the conduct of July 2019 LFS and APIS in the region. The July 2019 Consumer Expectation Survey (CES) will be undertaken this coming July 1 to 13, 2019. Agusan del Norte and Surigao del Norte are the provinces covered for this survey round. The Consumer Expectations Survey (CES) is a nationwide quarterly household-based survey on the consumers' assessment of their family income, financial situation, and the economic condition of the country. Caraga’s economy grew by 3.2 percent in 2018. Agriculture, Hunting, Forestry and Fishing as well as Services continued to expand in 2018 while Industry declined. Services continued to expand in 2018 with 5.7 percent growth. All industries under Services contributed to the increase during the period except for Transportation, Storage and Communication. Caraga's Economy Expands in 2018.

The Philippine Statistic Authority is gearing up for the next stage of the sample census - the field operations of the 2018 CPBI Phase 2 on April 2019. This is to collect and generate information on the the levels, structure, performance and trend of economic activities of the formal sector of the economy for the year 2018. It will also serve as benchmark information for the over-all revision and rebasing of the the national accounts to 2018. The 2018 Census of the Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) Phase 2 and the 2018 Input-Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI) Commence on April 2019.
