The Farm Prices Survey (FPS) is a nationwide household-based survey conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority which intends to update data on estimates of farmgate or producer prices. The output of the survey will serve as guide for policy making and for farmers and raisers for their decision making.
The Philippine Statistics Authority will conduct the Monthly Palay and Corn Situation Reporting System (MPCSRS) for 2021. The survey operation is conducted every first five (5) days of the month except for January, April, July, October and December. The MPCSRS serves as a monitoring system of the growing conditions and actual planting of palay and corn.
One of the regular monthly surveys conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is the Palay and Corn Stock Survey (PCSS1) which aims to generate estimates of the current stocks of rice and corn in farming and non-farming households. The statistics generated from the survey is used to monitor stocks situation of the food staples to ensure supply and demand equilibrium, access and price stability. It also aid policy makers in determining the quantity to be imported for food security purposes.
Caraga’s economy grew continually at 5.0 percent in 2019 but at a slower pace with reference to the growth rate of 5.2 percent in 2018. Among the three major industry items, only Services sector continued to expand with 11.0 percent while Industry sector slowed down at 0.4 percent and Agriculture, Forestry, & Fishing (AFF) declined with a growth rate of -3.6 percent.

The Philippine Statistics Authority will conduct the January 2021 Round of Palay Production Survey (PPS) and Corn Production Survey (CPS) which is simultaneously collected with the Backyard Livestock and Poultry Survey (BLPS) in all provinces of the region this coming December 1-10, 2020. The survey supports the data needs of planners, policy and decision makers, and other stakeholders in the agriculture sector and the general public.
The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office XIII (Caraga) is conducting the 2019 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) and 2019 Survey on Information and Communication Technology (SICT). The 2019 ASPBI aims to collect and generate information on the levels, structure, performance and trends of economic activities of the formal sector of the economy for the year 2019. It is to be conducted nationwide in November 2020 with 2019 as reference period.
The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office XIII (Caraga) will conduct the 2020 Occupational Wages Survey (OWS) and 2019/2020 Integrated Survey on Labor and Employment (ISLE), with a regional sample of approximately 162 sample establishments employing twenty (20) or more workers.
One of the major quarterly agricultural surveys conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is the Commercial Livestock and Poultry Survey (CLPS). It aims to generate estimates on inventory, supply and disposition of livestock and poultry commodities from commercial farms. The CLPS for swine, layer and broiler is conducted quarterly; while semi-annual for carabao, cattle, goat and duck.
On November 16-20, 2020, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the January 2021 round Quarterly Fisheries Surveys. The survey aims to generate volume and value on Commercial Fisheries, Marine Municipal Fisheries, Inland Fisheries and Aquaculture production by species and by quarter at the national, regional and provincial level. The statistics generated through the conduct of these surveys serve as input to compilation of national accounts, researches and studies, estimation of performance of agriculture, policy making and program implementation.
