The Philippine Statistics Authority -Caraga registered a total of 187 members of the Indigenous Cultural Communities (ICCs) during the series of Kalinga Alay sa Katutubo: NCIP – Caraga Service Caravan for Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples of Agusan del Norte held in different hard – to reach areas in Agusan del Norte. It was spearheaded by the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) and participated by other government agencies and stakeholders.

The economy of Caraga increased by 7.2 percent in 2021 compared with the -6.9 percent decline in 2020. The top three sub-industries with the highest growth rates in 2021 were: Human health and social work activities, which grew by 25.8 percent; Accommodation and food service activities at 17.0 percent; and Manufacturing at 15.9 percent.
The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Office XIII (Caraga) will conduct the 2022 National Demographic and Health Survey, with a sample of around 1,945 households, deemed sufficient to provide regional level estimates. About thirty-eight (38) Statistical Researchers and Field Personnel will be involved in the conduct of the 2022 NDHS in the region.
The Philippine Statistics Authority RSSO XIII is once again awarded with the Safety Seal by the Inspection and Certification Team comprising of Ms. Marissa M. Mones from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) - Butuan City and Mr. Winfel Villaruel from the Philippine National Police (PNP).
In connection to the rebasing of Consumer Price Index (CPI), the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the 2022 Commodity and Outlet Survey (COS) in all provinces of Caraga, including Butuan City.
On April 1-10, 2022, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the first quarter 2022 round of Backyard Livestock and Poultry Survey (BLPS) in all the provinces in Caraga. BLPS is a quarterly survey that aims to generate estimates on inventory, supply and disposition, and other related data of livestock and poultry commodities at the household level.
The Quarterly Palay Production Survey (PPS) and Corn Production Survey (CPS) are conducted simultaneously in all provinces of the region every first ten (days) of the month after the reference quarter (April for Quarter 1, July for Quarter 2, October for Quarter 3, and Quarter 4 is done during first 10 days of December to comply with the Philippine System of National Accounts).
