PSA Caraga Gears Towards the Conduct of the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Nationwide Rollout

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is mandated to lead the implementation of the 2022 CBMS as stipulated by Republic Act No. 11315, otherwise known as the CBMS Act. Each city and municipality shall be the primary data collecting authority within its locality. The CBMS entails a census of households undertaken by the LGUs with the participation of the community using an accelerated poverty profiling system in the data collection, processing, mapping, and analysis of data.

Balanghai Duon 2nd Qtr: Caraga’s economy contracted by 7.2 percent in 2020

The balanghai Duon is the official newsletter of the Philippine Statistics Authority – RSSO XIII. It contains the different statistical activities conducted by the RSSO for a specific quarter.

National Statistics Month: Call For Participants

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), RSSO XIII in coordination with the concerned offices in Caraga will be celebrating the 32nd National Statistics Month in October 2021. During the month-long event, several activities will be conducted to promote the relevance of statistics. These activities will include statistical contests/competitions engaging both the virtual and face-to-face mode. We are inviting students from Secondary Schools (public or private), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) of Caraga, as well as employees/technical staff from Regional Line Agencies (RLAs), Local Government Units (LGUs), and other government offices to join the competitions.

Balanghai Duon, 3rd Quarter 2020

The Philippine Statistics Authority commenced the conduct of the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (CPH) on September 1, 2020 nationwide. In Caraga, over 2,000 enumerators visited the households and conducted face-to-face interview following the health protocols. The information collected were demographic characteristics, socio-economic characteristics, cultural characteristics, structural characteristics and facilities of the housing units.

PSA RSSO XIII celebrates the 2020 Civil Registration Month

The Civil Registration Month is a nationwide celebration conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) where its objective is to remind the citizenry of the duty to register acts and events concerning the status of persons, enhance nationwide awareness and appreciation of the legal, administrative and statistical values of civil registry documents. The theme for this year's Civil Registration month is "Shaping CRVS by Embracing New Trends in the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR)."
