Statistical Specialist II

1

1. Attends and assists in the meetings, trainings, and other CBMS-related activities;
2. Prepares reports and other materials for the meetings, trainings, operation, and other CBMS-related activities;
3. Helps establish training procedures for personnel to be utilized for census/ survey/mapping operations;
4. Reviews survey/census questionnaires and datafiles, mapping shapefiles, and other reports;
5. Analyzes survey/census results;
6. Assists in the field supervision of statistical activities/mapping operations; and
7. Performs other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

1. Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Sociology, or other related courses;

2. With at least two years demonstrated ability in data analysis and project management, data visualization and statistical surveys and has working knowledge in Office software (e.g. spreadsheet, word processing and presentation)
3. Preferably with at least CS Professional/Second Level Eligibility or its equivalent;
4. With good written and oral communication skills;
5. Computer literate, with knowledge in word processor and spreadsheet;
6. Physically fit to do field work;
7. With good moral character;
8. Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and beyond 5:00 pm, if necessary,
9. Does not have any existing work contract with other office/agency; and
10. Not related up to the third degree of consanguinity or affinity of the appointing/recommending officers and direct/immediate supervisors
