In 2021, Caraga’s total palay production was estimated at 467,743.50 metric tons. Agusan del Sur was the top palay producing province in the region accounted for 54.99 percent of the total production. Surigao del Sur and Agusan del Norte took the second and third place with 16.13 percent share and 13.83 percent share, respectively. While Dinagat Islands had the smallest palay production with 6,393.12 metric tons or 1.37 percent share. In 2021, Caraga’s total corn production was 141,648.84 metric tons. Agusan del Sur was the leading corn producing province in Caraga accounted for 76.68 percent of the total production. Agusan del Norte and Surigao del Sur took the second and third place with 13.53 percent share and 8.19 percent share, respectively. While Dinagat Islands produced the smallest corn production with 370 metric tons or 0.26 percent share.
