The result of the Labor Force Survey (LFS) conducted in July 2019 shows the economic participation of women in Caraga. Of the 1,232 thousand labor force population 15 years and over in the region, 466 thousand or 37.8 percent were women. This posted an increase of 0.2 percentage point compared with 447 thousand women in July 2018. Read more about Women in the Labor Force.

 

The total number of constructions in the region reached 597 in the third quarter of 2019. This represents a decrease of 34.2 percent from the 907 total constructions in the same quarter of 2018. Read more about Construction Statistics in Caraga: Third Quarter 2019.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Statistical Services Office XIII (Caraga) will conduct the 2020 April Labor Force Survey (LFS). A total of 2,152 sample housing units/households in the region will be visited. About 56 Statistical Researchers and Field personnel will be involved in the conduct of the said survey in the region. Crops Production Survey (CrPS) is conducted quarterly by the Philippine Statistics Authority to generate production estimates for crops other than palay and corn at the national, regional and provincial levels disaggregation. Production data generated from the CrPS are inputs to the Performance of Agriculture Report (PAR) and to the preparation of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Furthermore, the survey aims to support the data needs of planners, policy and decision makers and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector, and to provide periodic updates on crop related developments.
